Lake Barkley, or KY Lake?

Im coming from Elizabethtown this weekend to hit either lake. I was just wanting to see what everyones opinion was on which is the hotter lake right now. Im just comeing down to catch alot fish and have a good time. Ill be on the boat to. Any info will help, thanks

I just got back and I had better luck on Barkley. Some fish were on beds, others were on main and secondary points. Both lakes are in transition right now. Be ready for some junk fishing.

I have been fishing both lakes this week and they are biting on both lakes. Check my report tomorrow evening on the Kentucky Lake Reports page for latest update on lure and patterns. Note that the biggest tournament of the year will be out of Kentucky Dam on Saturday (Jet-a-Marina Open) and I was told there is a big tournament out of Paris on Saturday also.
