Just heard that Jose Wejebe, the host of The Spanish Fly, died in a plane crash Fri. I really like that show and meet him at the Bassmasters classic one time, he was at one of the booths. nice man. he and his show will be missed..

I loved watching that show when I was younger. I read where he had received his pilot's license in 2004 and was flying an experimental turboprop aircraft that "Spanish Fly" had built to explore some areas of the Keys, reports I read said wind may have been a factor especially where the aircraft was so small and light. Very sad indeed!
