Heading there for the first time this weekend.
Just wondered if I could get some basic info
-What ramps can you use from Conley Bottom to Burnside or in Fishing Creek
-Water color?
-How much brush is in the water? is it down below the brush or should I put heavy line on a few rods?
And help would be appreciated, If I know what to bring and what to rig up it will help
Was just there Thursday to Sunday. Best day was easily Friday when it was windy and overcast with a full moon. The two of us caught close to 40 that day. More smallies than anything else, but also LM, spots, a 23" walleye, a 22" striper and about a 4 pound flathead. Water was surprisingly clear with a nice green color to it. Fished from Stillhouse Hollow (just below Fishing Creek) to Harmon. Most fish were in the backs of creeks and the bigger pockets, though we did pick up a few on secondaries. Most were caught on T-rigged lizards. A few more on spinnerbaits and jerks. Water was clear enough that we were sight fishing in Little Cub, but all we managed to do was spook them. Hang on tight to those jerks and spinnerbaits!!
