As far as self defense and stand your ground wouldn't the young man have the right to beat up someone coming at him with a gun? Kind the chicken and the egg thing, Trayvon Martin sees some man coming towards him with a gun it is understandable he might jump on him and beat him feeling his life was in danger. Zimmerman gets jumped by a suspicious character who start beating him so he shoots to defend himself.
This case really is a sad tragic mess. I hope a jury can sort through it all and the truth is revealed.
