Went fishing at Meldah dam yesterday in my boat. No other boats at the dam fishing but mine. There were signs posted at the dam that there was no fishing in the lock entrance. I was there a few months ago and there was this one %$#%# person that was not moving his boat when a barge came through and almost was run over. This guy was yacking on his cell phone and wasn't even paying atention to what was going on around him.The lockmaster wasn't very happy with this individual actions. I am sure this is why the locks are now off limits to boaters.Our prime fishing area on the Kentucky side from a boat was taken away with the new constuction, now we lost the prime fishing area on the Ohio side. One BAD APPPLE can spoil it for everyone.
Does anyone else have any input to this situation?

Did manage to catch a few fish down the river at the creek on the Ohio side.
