Obama's Secret Service

Well it seems that 11 Secret Service agents and 5 US military personnel have emphasized the "Secret" in Secret Service for Obama. They went ahead of him to Colombia to set up security but seem to have found a brothel and had some secret service of their own from the prostitutes. One agent refused to pay a prostitute and she had plenty to tell. Now some "heads" in Washington are calling for the Director to be fired. Once again, our tax dollars are at work.

I'm having trouble with the "off duty stuff". My thinking is if you are on assignment in a foreign county, you have to be on best behavior because anyhting you do reflects on "the boss". So I guess from the standpoint the conduct brought discredit on the county, then yep, on duty or off, they owe the piper.

Man, I should have been drawn and quartered for the stuff I did "off duty" in Korea.

I agree...as far as I'm concerned you and I and every other tax paying citizen in the United States is the "boss" so to speak...and yes, considering the assignment the secret service guys had, plus they are supposed to be a representation of OUR country...I would want them to be on their absolute best behavior...as far as I'm concerned, those guys had no "off duty" time, they were on the clock 24/7 while in a different country representing the United States in my opinion.

I consider a soldier to have "off duty" time...but not a sunglasses-dark suit wearin' secret service member.
