It is a shame we have to worry about eating the fish we catch but read the fine print on store bought/restaurant frozen fish. You have to look close. Kroger, Walmart. Meijer etc. frozen fish is either a product of China or Viet Nam. Does not matter if it is Cod, Salmon, Halibut, Tilapia, Grouper it is basiclly all processed in China. I could not believe this at first but all you have to do is Google for a while and you will learn. Lots of these fish are "Wild Caught" , frozen, then shipped to China, thawed, processed, packaged re frozen and shipped back. I have refused to buy store bought frozen fish anymore from China.
