That place is tough right now.Sounds like you put a hurtin on em. I will say this with all the water issues that lake is going to decline in the next 5 years. Seems to me it already has went down hill alot. Just my two cents.

The water situation has killed our spawns the last four years. Its sad our tournament weights keep going down.

Nice report I killed fish there Tuesday with the clouds in place. Best numbers day I've had on the big C in about five years or so it was awesome. Had some very decent quality to. Almost couldn't fish for what I was after though because them dang pesky striper critters would't stay off my bait......

    wednesday afternoon sucked !!!

one short SM a 22 inch SM and a 25 inch cat......3 bites thats it

Yep, when that front cleared from the south and the skies got high and wind switched to the North East it was over pretty quick. I knew then it was time to head to the house....

I didn't get the memo. Still here and still ***** Thursday. Tonight though shad are coming up to dock lights. I hope that means Friday will be better. Compare to 2 weeks ago, this week uneventful.

From Sesame Street: "One of these fish is not like the other........."

From this list of fish caught by the wife last week, which one is missing:
    -Rock Bass
    -Green Sunfish
    -Bluegill
    -Redear Sunfish
    -Longear Sunfish
    -Small Mouth Bass
    -KY Bass
    -Large Mouth Bass
    -Channel Catfish.

Give up.?????........flipping Stripers...tight mouthed, spooky, suspended, non-biting pains in the arses.

I quit....I'm turning to booze instead of fishing for fun:
    a. When you pay for booze you always get it. Buying bait and gas don't guarantee fish.
    b. Beer by the gallon costs less than boat gas.
    c. You don't have to have insurance on a six pack of beer.
    d. The buzz from a six pack lasts longer than the elation of catching a friggin bluegill.
    e. I have never had to dig a hook out of my hand while drinking a beer.
    f. Shad die....longneck 12 ounce bottles don't.
    g. Canned beer lasts longer in a cooler than shiners do.
    h. If I drop a six pack of beer cans and they all rupture....it cost me $4. If I drop a friggin trolling motor, it costs me car payments.
    i. The longest I drive to find out I can't get beer is 20 minutes, store closed. It takes 2 hours to get to Cumberland to find the Stripers have gone on strike.
    j. I don't have to throw a cast net for 3 hours to get pretzels to go with my beer. I do have to throw the net to get shad to go fishing.

And last.....the beer cans I pay for can be recyle to recapture some of the expense. BassPro's in Jamestown just about threw me out when I brought them back a 1/4 bucket of dead shiners. Come on Basspro.....read the Bible....they will rise from the dead and do have resale value!
I mean they were not fit for their intended purpose.....the Stripers did not EAT THEM!
