I don't know about anyone else, but turkey season has been mucho-sucko for me. So, since I took some vacation time, I decided to go fishing for the first time in quite a while. I loaded up the canoe and drove to Lock #1, just outside Carrollton. There was more water coming over the dam than what I felt comfortable getting close to by myself, so I crossed to the far side and beached the boat and fished off the wall. It took a lot of weight to get lures down to biting range of the fish, but I caught a little of everything. Got some white bass-what I was really hoping for, largemouth, smallmouth, sauger, and of course a drum.
I thought I could post a pic on here, but just noticed that it says otherwise...
Oh well, it was a good day on the water. Hope everyone else is having some like it.
I finally managed to get a few pix from my phone onto the pc, and uploaded them to the Photo Board. No monsters, but what the heck...
