Bass are biting if you do what Dave has in his report last Thursday.

One of my better trips in years even though no fish over 4lbs. It is all about finding that lead in bank that is still holding fish.

On the sunny days the finesse jig was the primary ticket. Tuesday it was cold and overcast and the DT10 crankbait worked well.

Water clarity pretty good. never made it to KYL, had no reason to traverse the canal.

Never saw any indication that bass were nesting but did not spend an hour fishing flats; no one else seemed to be fishing the far backs either. Mid-cove is what you want. Ledges I picked up a few early birds but nothing to write home about.
