Fairly new to crappie fishing, but i have the overall picture. Only, with the weather in Ky, this April, what is happing to the crappie, are they spawing, spawn is done, or are they holding off? Had a chance of some nice weather earlier this month (April), really just one day where the wind laid down, the sun came out, and the weather was pleasant. Now, where back to what seems like fall conditions, nights are cold, days mild, windy as all get out.

So, what would you do? I was hoping they would stay strong, and the bite would be on till at least the middle of May. Guess I am sucking hind-tit and should of been on the water, then last of Feb. begging of March.

FYI,I am fishing Cedar Creek lake, Ky. Even if they are biting and will bite again. Whats the best presentation, tubs, jigs. Last I went they omly hit minnows, way early, then fell off the face of the earth around 9am.

Anyone willing to share a young lad some knowledge? Thanks
