anybody been out the last couple nights for stripers or walleye?

went as net man for my son and his buddy last night, they caught 9 (5 keepers) in about an hour and a half. slivers and thundersticks. too much wind where we were for anything on top. storms ran us off the lake before it was the "magic hour" so i think it was gonna be a good night....just cut short. no walleyes....not one.....nada....my worst year EVER for walleyes. i know they are being caught, ive seen em, even ate some charity walleye, i just cant get em

Cousin just went Thursday night, they caught 18 with 5 legal..said the bite picked up around 2:30 or so and actually lasted till after the sun came up..We will be going back down tonight! Cant wait. Good luck

fished friday night and only caught one keeper and 6 short fish. fished sat. night 4 keepers and 10 short. i have never seen so many shad from sunset to sunrise every where.

What areas do you guys fish if ya don't mind me asking. Bluffs,peagravel,points or what? We have tried em down there but never any luck,usually end up going on to barren but that drive ***** after a nights fishin.

Went last Saturday night had several blowups on thunderstick but no hoodups. Had one striper on a Gizz 4 pulled off though. Where have the walleyes gone? Can't find em.

Find the most concentrated areas of bait if they are there the stripers will soon follow. There is no specific pattern right now, it's where the shad are at and you'll be fine.. Moon is not helping though..

Seriously wasn't trying to comre off like a smartass at all just sayin the shad are everywhere right now but some banks and areas are better than others. The MOST bait will win the day....
