Braid cutters or do as I do and raid your wife's scrapbooking room. I have 2 pair that have Joanne's Fabrics stenciled on the blade that I "borrowed" from her and they are better at cutting braid than Berkley Braid Cutters.

I'm in the process of switching over to Sunline FC Sniper for everything but topwater, haven't tried it yet, but I am looking for something to replace my segaur that hasn't been performing very well lately.

Flourocarbon (100% Flouro by Berkley) - 8# test on all my spinning rods.

I hate stretch of mono and find flouro more castable than braid.

Anything with heavier line I use a baitcaster for.

OR ... you can go to Wally World & buy a pair of Childs Size Fiskar Scissors (~$2) !!

I use PowerPro 10/2 braid on one of my outfits, and the Fiskar scissors cut it clean & blunt. Blunt cuts are necessary for trying to poke that limp braid thru the tiny line eye of a Crappie jig !! Any fraying of the tag end & it's a serious hassle !!

One other thing one needs, when using braided line ... is a short dowel rod. When you get hung up & absolutely HAVE to break off ... using your hand might cost you a finger !! At the very least you're subject to getting a serious cut. Just wrap the line around the dowel & pull ... saves your hand, fingers, or even the cork/foam handle of your rod (if you're one that wraps braid around it, to pull your bait free or break the line).

    ... pappy
