fish should be post spawn and near spawning flats. early and late they should move up and topwater bite this time of year can be awesome. if overcast and rainy, don't forget the chartreuse spinnerbait! if throwing swibaits, go small and deep with the bait crawling on the bottom. also good time for dragging c-rig around said flats. if bite gets slow, the big gills and shell crackers should be going to bed in backs of creeks. some big ones in there! star point is great have stayed there off and on for several years. nice folks good ramps and nice dock to leave boat in water. best of luck!!! post results.
