My first KY trophy fish

Caught this big ol' sheephead sunday morning down at the creek which qualified for my first KY trophy fish award at 26 inches. Got him on a Rapala DT-4 in the Ike's Custom Ink Demon color. It never fails to amaze me the fish that come out of these little creeks.

I'm not going to lie, at first I thought I had hooked into a 5 or 6 pound largemouth. When I saw it was a Drum I was a little disappointed. It still put up a heck of a fight though and was a lot of fun to catch. Biggest fish I've ever caught with a pair of waders on.
