Big Redears and Gills Ky Lake 4/21

WOW!! This is our first day catch of redears and bluegill on Kentucky Lake, Sat afternoon.
We had 33 big redears in one afternoon. They were 10-12". Unbelievable fishery.
Dropshot with redworms in 2-3' of water. We brought back 300 fillets or 150 fish
for 4 days, mostly bluegill. After the first day we only had 7-9 redears daily, rest bluegills.

Awesome...............I love to bluegill fish once and awhile and when you can get fish like that especially with those big Shellcrackers you have it's just great.

We set this trip up to bass and crappie fish. We caught alot of bass, including a couple of 19" smallmouth. Crappie was slow, so we fished for redear. First time I ever fished for them.
Had an absolute blast on ultralight rods. Talking about a fight!! When we hooked up it looked like we were winding in a frisbee! They were that wide!
