    Angry John Edwards Trial

This sleeze has already been tried by the electorate, and found unfit for public office. So why are we spending tons of money to further persue this jerk? The prosecuter who intiated proceedings, resigned the next day, to run for public office. Its believed he is a tea party backed candidate, you know the oned who are against frivolous government spending. Why isn't he prosecutinjg the case?Because it was personal BS, and the tax payers are footing the bill for his "pay back"

So we shouldn't prosecute him for all the election laws he may have violated, just because he's now un-electable? Sorry but I disagree. He wasn't just a slimeball of a husband, he was a slimeball in how he ran his campaign, and if he DID use campaign funds to cover up his affair (which it sure looks like he did), then I don't see why he should get a free pass.

Two law professors today on NPR, one pro, one con. Both of them agree that there are more pressing cases to prosecute about campaign finance. I agree that he's slime, but after what we have just seen with two candidates in this primary, and past primarys Politicians rate pretty low on the morality scale. So who wins, if he's exonerated, he's still done in politics. if he loses he spends time at a club med federal prison, and who gets the bill in either case? And will prevent further campaign abuse? Did the death penalty stop murder? This was a personal vendetta, to begin with.

No free pass and pay for his crimes if found guilty. Would love to see him paying for this for the rest of his life. Maybe the next politician who has the keys to the kingdom will second guess their potnetial crime after seeing some real justice. Sadly if he is found guilty.....I have zero, zilch, will not happen faith in justice being done. He's one of the 1% and the occupy Folks should be after him!!! Lol
