Re: Strange things that happen on the lake

    June of 1991 ,

we were fishing on Herrington and it had started to storm pretty bad, no lightning just hard rain and wind. we were basically just letting the wind psh us up in a cove ( im not fimilar enough to give exact locations ) we stopped once the wind had blown the bow of the boat up on what we had thoght was a fallen tree close to the back of the cove and after a few seconds this tree , log or what ever it was vanished down in the water very quick. all my buddy said to me was " hold on , were getting the $&%@ out of here now ". never had anything like that happen before and have only been back to Herrington two times since.

Was fishing Taylorsville Lake and hooked into something huge in 20' of water. During the retrieve my partner and i noticed a big fluffy white tail. Yep we hung a deer that had drowned crossing the lake.
