Smile Good fishing line to use with blacklight.

I used clear blue stren for years at night with my blacklight. Sometimes the clear blue p-line. Is there another alternative to use. I love fluorocarbon seguar invisix, but not at night. Also tried the stren clear blue fluoro, it does the job well, but gets curly pretty bad after a couple of trips to the lake. After using fluoro, hate to take the step back to use mono. But what else is out there. Braid? That seems alittle to much for me. What about perm. Fluorecent marker on fluoro ? Just thinking out loud. Thanks for any ideas and good fishing.

I use P-line CX premium 20lb Clear blue. It is Fluro coated and has less stretch than mono. It is more limp than the regular CXX mono. It is my compromise. Easier knots at night since I tie the berkley braid knot minus 4 loops on my fluro during the day.

I also use P-Line CX premium for the same reason and mtn lures. I use 10 and 12 lb test.

I personnally like line conditioners on braid and mono, but I especiallly like it on fluoro. I use the KVD stuff and it works great. I like braid with a fluoro leader for many presentations and tie (the leader) with a double uni durring the day and a surgeons knot at night as it is easy to "feel". Even if you dont use line conditioner, braid with fluoro leader wont have much if any line twist issues. I take my all fluoro rigs and tie them to something at the house and stretch (just a little) and always put line conditioner on the night before.

Stren has a Fluorecent- Fluorocarbon, I used it in tournaments last summer with no problems. It was a little stiff but, like you I love invizx, so
unless the come out with a line designed to fish under a blacklight-
Put Invizx out of you mind, Nothing compares !

I have also tried the p-line cx and it is a tick better than the stren mono in my opinion. It seems not to handle rock that great to me though. Thanks for the input on the subject. I guess we are all in the same boat so to speak after all. Maybe someday seguar will see the dollar signs and get on board with some good clear blue fluoro. Until then I will keep looking for something to fill the void.

Stren makes that flourescent flourocarbon mentioned above in another post is what I use. It does great with the sensitivity and low stretch. No problems with it as of yet. You might want to give it a try if your like flourocarbon line.
