    Nolin: Lake Level

Haven't been able to get the link to the lake levels to work on my computer. Does anyone know if Nolin is at summer pool or how many feet above or below?? Going Friday and just curious.

5 feet below summer pool as of this evening...came up a little over a foot with the weekend rain. Probably only come up a couple inches a day rest of week though unless we get another good rain.

can you boaters be respectful and not fish the brush piles in front of everyone's docks? i swear, i put stuff down there to improve the fishing in front of my place, and boats are literally waiting to have their turn at it. A lot of work and time goes into that, and it's being fished so heavily i probably won't catch a **** fish off it all year.

No, i can't even fish it. There's always a boat there, sometimes the same boat for 3-4 hours. If it keeps up I'm taking everything out next winter.

Must be a good brush pile. What's your address and I'll make sure those other guys don't fish it

That like saying I put alot of work scouting for deer on public ground therefore no one is allowed to hunt it but me. Surely your just trying to be funny.

    Re: Nolin: Lake Level

Surely you are not serious. I fish the brush piles around the docks and I will fish under the docks. If we avoid all the docks in a lake there isn't anywhere left to fish.

You're dropping brush into completely public waters and getting mad because somebody is fishing it, really? Also do you have a permit to drop that brush in the water, if not you're breaking the law....The CORP requires you to get a permit to drop brushpiles into CORP ran lakes

    Re: Nolin: Lake Level

restornator: I have a dock on Nolin as well and I put brush out near it as well as other areas of the lake. However, I could care less who fishes it, because it's public water. All I ask is that they be courteous and respectful of my property (dock, boats, etc.)...otherwise, it's fair game my friend. Now, what I would say is that regardless of whether or not someone is fishing your dock (from a boat), if you were to show up at the dock with rod and reel in hand and ready to fish, I would expect that they'd be courteous and yield to you since you are limited to that area and own the dock (not the water though mind you).
