Arch Coal Company, had a fishing tournament today. they were 46 boats entered. and anyone that worked for Arch got to let a friend fish from the back seat of their boat. I am only a pleasure fisherman, but today I was part of the Arch fishing tournament. I had a wonderful time, I didn't even get a single bite today on Laurel. but there was a few small fish caught. 6.76 was the weight that won first place, after the weigh in, Arch had food for everyone. and after everyone finished eating, they had a drawing for some prizes. and I won a new fishing rod. I don't think I saw a single person there, that wasn't wearing a smile. a great bunch of guys for sure. it has been a good while, sense I've had a fun day like today. and I thank God for friendly people.
