Got my wife a Yorkie for christmas. She gave me the honor of naming him after I said no to her 1st and 2nd choice.

    "GUNNER" is now my dog.

That begs the question, which two did you save Gunner form?

I was going to say Gunner also. I have a jack russel named that. I thought if I every get another I'd name it Remmington or Remmy. I always liked Bear or Buck for bigger dogs.

"Brody" was one. The other was a "Yorkie" type name, can't remember.

Thanks to everyone! I gave her the suggestions and now it's up to them. She already has three chihuahua's. Moose, Budha and what's his name....I can't remember because he gets in my nerves with skittish barking behavior.

Best dog I owned was a Schnauzer Pomeranian Terrier mix. (the father was a Schnauzer the mother was a slut) Hart to Hart TV show had a cute dog named freeway and since we lived in the country we named it Rural Route called it Route for short.

My brother in law had a Lab don't remember his name but he called it Meat Head and it was Apropos.

Well looks like they settled on Oliver. Winston and Skeeter were considered but after spending a day with him Oliver....Olley for short seemed to fit.

Ollie has a nice ring to it when calling a dog. Hey if they get another one they can name him Stanley.

Lol that's true! I like that name as well. The Great Dane that I was around a month or so ago was named Zander and that's another cool name I hadn't thought of.....and I liked it alot.
