    Monroe can be tough to fish.....especially if you don't fish it often....but it has good ones on both sides! The bass are in post-spawn and are heading towards their summer haunts. There is a lot of bait up shallow and on points. Topwater action could be good early, cranks, plastics, and jigs the rest of the day. Drops and channel edges on the slow side are probably good too. Good luck....the lake has been a zoo on week-ends!

    Thanks for the info! Greatly appreciated!

    We fish Monroe once each year in our club....at different times of the year, so its very hard to get a read on the lake.

    Is there a lake that isn't a zoo this time of year? I call them "lake lice"

    Well no, I guess not There is a USA Bassin tourney that day too that will draw 40-50 boats. Have fun
