She is showing 13.4 with no rise from the rain. I may go catch a mess of gills Saturday afternoon once it reaches 90. They should be nesting there.

Was wondering if the rain we had yesterday made the creek muddy or not, would like to go thursday or friday but hate planning a trip not knowing if it is going to be muddy.

I was at Frymans tonight and the creek looked great. Wasnt fishing so dont have much info for you.
Thanks guys..... The bluegills have started to move to the bedding areas in the last couple of weeks, we have caught several in the last week or so but nothing impressive yet, am hoping they will be cooperating this weekend also... That is about the most fun you can have with a fishing pole when the better fish are hitting as soon as the bait hits the water and if you are lucky enough to have a youngster with you it is a golden day.
Don't suppose anyone would like to meet up somewhere in Paris tomorrow and throw a line would they?

Sounds crazy, I know, but I'm bypassing Stoner for Houston. It's a giant pain in the rear with the canoe and all, but no traffic, great scenery, and the occasional decent fish. Got heavy chores this weekend, so going for the quick strike. I'll be doing a lot of dragging, but really don't care. All the water in Paris is looking top shelf. Hinkston should also be considered for all you creek waders out there. Have a good weekend everyone.
Fished last night 815 til 3am. Had a limit by 11 and then the light switch shut off. I was wanting to go today and bluegill fish the beds but the heat got me to go last night. Biggest was 2 1/2 rest were around 14 inches. Water looks great little duckweed appearing from lack of rain.
