Exactly, speed doesn't matter. The moment you put that motor in gear you are going at idle speed. At least they weren't up on plane going 45 mph through the idle zone like someWhen I fished the northen divisonal we were told that idle is when you engage your motor the first click when you first put it in forward is idle. Anything more and you would of been giving a ticket. Was to slow for me so I did not go where I had to idle. But that was the Wisconsin DNR idle rule.![]()
