I see it as a huge problem caused by politicians and gubment and this guy is caught up in it. Since he served our country he should be grandfathered in since he has proof of his service. The intent was to weed out the fraudulent voters and sometimes problems arise. To scrap the law would be a mistake. Kinda comes down to the gubment/politicians caused this mess and they are dead set on making it worse by crying foul when a simple mistake happens. Just fix the mistakes and move on.
