Rough River

Has anyone been to Rough River in the past couple days?,,,I haven't seen a whole lot of info on the lake lately,,were gonna try and go down later on in the week and do some bass fishing and was just wondering if anyones been doing any good there or should we go somewhere else,,,thanks

I would probably try somewhere else. I fished there this weekend and it was pretty slow going, caught a few fish but overall it wasn't very good. Water is still low too.

I was there this past weekend and all the reports I got were very slow fishing. Of course it was 95 degrees and Memorial weekend. With all the water pouring into the lake and the cooler temps coming I would expect the fishing to change in a hurry. I plan to be there fishing Friday Saturday and Sunday so you can PM me for my contact info if you'd like.

Fished rough river on memorial day for about 2 hours and caught two big keepers and lost about a 4 1/2 pounder right at the boat. Got there about an hour before dark tho so I would recommend night fishing if you are going to fish
