    Sneaky Gas Stations

They lowered the price right up to the holiday to get everyone to fill up and take a longer trip somewhere. Then the next day after Memorial Day they jump the price of gasoline up by over 20 cents a gallon, knowing that everyone returning home from their vacation has to go to work and fill the tank back up.

But I didn't go anywhere and filled up the day before the price jump. ha ha. Hope everyone else filled up on Monday and keeps the tank filled.

These gas station owners are sneaky and need to be controlled better.

I bet that everyone is tired of paying such high price for a gallon of gas. It would not be so bad if you just needed One gallon of gas but we buy it by the tankful not by the gallon. So these prices are costing me 4 times what I use to pay to fill up my tank in my truck. I used to only pay 10 to fill my tank when it was 1/4 full but now I'm paying over $40 to fill it. I normally top if off when I see the gas gauge gettting down below the half way mark or before I get to 1/4 tank. That about 7 to 10 gallons of gas for me. My tank holds 16 gallons in total.

I plan on going fishing on Patoka Lake sometime but they must stop playing around with these gas prices. There's no excuse for this. No war going on that's stopping the flow of oil out of the middle east or anything like that. It's just pure greedy manipulation IMHO

You know it takes weeks to get the the price of gas down to 3.45 this last week and only takes one day or a few hours to get it back up to 3.65. Now that's not right.

I know gas prices have really gone up over these past years, and I also don't like it. However it pales in comparison to how much health insurance premiums have continually gone up over the past 10-15 years. That IMO is a much bigger burden and outrage than the higher gas prices.

I save most of my anger about prices for that

Gas prices are bad, but we complain about paying that much for a GALLON, while other countries are paying more for only a litre.

Thankfully, our insurance rates actually went down for us where I work.

Amen, brother. I have to pay for my own insurance and it has gone up 15% a year, every year, since I purchased it. With pre-exisiting conditions I can't even change insurers. They've got me by the short hairs.

I pay my own also. I guess maybe we are more targeted for increases then group plans. Mine has gotten ridiculously high.

Well the cost of healthcare has gone up so fast that it's hard to keep up with the rising costs.

Just don't get sick or it will cost you $600 just to take the trip to the hospital in an ambulance with a paramedic and an EMT driver.

Have a heart attack and have open heart surgery and stay in the hospital for a month and your bill will be just under $300.000.

So I guess buying a tank of gas for $45 is cheap compared to having a heart attack.

Still I have to buy a tank of gas each and every few days and I hope to only have one heart attack and hosptial stay. But you never know what the future will bring.

A double whammy is if the high cost of filling up gives you a heart attack.

As far as the gas goes, our government needs to let drilling here in the states resume so we're not depending on other countries.

Insurance, our government needs to get out of that business too.

All of this just my opinion.
