Rod Length and Action Question

I think your height may have some to do with it. If you are average height or larger; 7' rods are probably a good choice.

It also depends on where you are fishing. I fish on Floyd's Fork sometimes; if I fish there all the time; I think I would go with 6'6" more often.

Because I fish more ponds and lakes; I prefer 7'. I am 6' which is a shade over average height.
