I'm not sure exactly where I read this. I think it was on the Indiana DNR web site somewhere. And it was probably when they first started making us buy the IDNR lake Permits for Patoka Lake. I know I bought two of them over the years. If I got up to Patoka this year I'll have to buy a new one. I don't mind as it's not that expensive and it helps support the IDNR fishing programs and lakes. It's a tax that I pay to fish.
I'm just glad that I don't need one for fishing Bluegrass. As I fish that pit more than Patoka.
And I'll be posting a new thread about the Lake Master IN/OH fishing maps of Patoka lake soon. Just be aware that it's not that good for Patoka but better for lake Monroe.
