I am not a bluegill fishermen but is it true that this full moon will bring them to nest.

If they haven't spawned already.

they have a big spawn early sping but they will spawn every month until the end of september or when the water gets cooler i think under75 deg. If your hunting big gills you can find them around the same places as crappie and bass. Gills like structure and can be caught under crappie in the brush.. Hope this helps..
Let me edit this in saying you need fresh kentucky red worms to catch these dudes those canada red worms wont do it.. small minnows work good this time of year too..
