Help with striper fishing please

Ok so im going to try to start striper fishin but i pretty much dont have a clue of what i need and i have no idea of how to do it basically. So if anyone could help me out or point me in the direction of someone or like a helpful link that would be great.

Check out some of the old KY fishing reports for Lake Cumberland. There are several provided by lake guides that give some info on patterns and techniques. Stripers are a year-round fishery so there a a great variety of methods that work at different times of the year. Some methods require specialized equipment, such as planer boards, downriggers, etc, and can get expensive in a hurry. You might also consider hiring a guide and asking him/her for help. Most of the good ones are more than willing to help you get started.
