My suggestion would be to Google "KY atlas maps" of the county you are staying in and the surrounding counties. Those maps have all the rivers, creeks, and drainages on them, as well as the county roads. Start looking for the creeks and rivers, and find where those places cross under a road and go check it out. Usually people don't mind you fishing at the bridges, but if there is a house close by, just go ask for permission. The worst they can say is no.
