Coosa Bass

According to B.A.S.S. there is so no such thing as a Coosa Bass, but rather it is called Red Eye Bass ( not to be confused with rock bass). found in Al, GA, and TN.

I think the Coosa bass is just a nickname, but KDFWR calls them Coosa bass. They must not get very big around here because the state record is only .53 pounds according to KDFWR web site. A friend of mine recently moved to Georgia and lives on a river that is supposed to be a good fishery for them.
