Camp Carlson access question

Hi Folks,
Does anyone know if there is access to Otter Creek from Camp Carlson for the general public?
Or is it for active duty military only? I know there is a FINs lake (Fishing in Neighborhoods-ky.dept of Fish & Wildlife), called Carlson Lake.

Thanks for the reply HURRICANEBOB. I'm a vet, but not retired or 100% DAV.
I'll just keep fishing Otter Creek Park,& maybe try to locate some of the deeper holes downstream from Blue Hole that I read about in the other thread.-Kurt

I think u can still fish there as a civilian if u buy the post permit. Call (502) 624-7311 thats the hunt control offce and ask them

And camp carlson is the fins lake and open to the public.
