This is the problem, that law enforcement and the courts do not seem to take seriously. I don't think it is a Pendleton County problem, but a society problem. Especially in our state and surrounding areas.I hate thieves, trespassers, and poachers. Sorry title of the thread made me want to vent,I keep having problems on my farm with some scum of the earth people that keep trespassing on my farm to hunt and steal, the sheriffs office, state police, and CO in Pendleton county are about as useless as,well you know.
I know who the people are,but they stole and destroyed trail cams I put out to capture proof, they stole years of ginseng I grew on the farm as wild simulated replantings, they shoot up signs, which only seems to draw them more.Yet,they have the gall to put a No Trespassing sign on their two acre property across the highway from my farm.
I have contacted all of the Law Enforcement Agencies I listed above to no avail, seems like the CO is more interested in Ohio River Boaters than spring squirrel season poachers ( even though they sneak in to kill deer, turkeys, and anything else they can get away with),the Sheriff here is too sorry to do anything that doesn't involve big publicity for him,the State Police are too few and spread out to get here in time to catch them, and all I hear is how they have to be caught in the act.
You can bet if I shot one of these trash sob's ,they'd run to charge me though.I've been laidup from recent surgery which has made it tough to stay on them,I'm really frustrated about the whole situation to where in the past I allowed people who ask and are legal on my place, but I'm about to put a stop to anyone ever being allowed here again because of the I don't care attitude of our wonderful LEO's here in Pendleton County,Ky
