Need a place to fish around Boyle County

I have been living here for a while and I fish Herrington and Cedar Creek a decent amount but I do not have a boat. I was wondering if there are any ponds our creeks I can fish. I am from an area with a ton of streams and rivers that you can wade and access publicly so being around here is strange.

I am not looking for your honey holes I just need a few places that you can access a good stretch of water without having to deal with private land. I am looking to catch anything but I need a few places I can go. I have looked on the KY DNR page but that isnt really much of a help because I need fisherman's opinions.

Try Taylorsville at the 248 bridge. Take BG Pkwy to exit 42. Go right about 8-9 miles to the bridge. Park there and walk either way as far as you desire,

If ya drive down 150 towards Standford turn left onto Chrisman Lane you can fish Hanging Fork creek. There is also a small lake off of 27 near the Lincoln/ Garrad County line in the Logan Park(this is not full name). Also if stop in at Curtsinger Bait shopout past Pioneer Playhouse they can probabl
y tell you of some othet spots.
My dad and I use to fish Rankin's bottom on the banks of the Dix, but have been told its hard to park there now.
