I bet that got his heart pumping. I'm pretty sure he's hunted bear before!

Take a look at the photo. Looks like it was taken with a phone.

Awesome pic..........I always suspected them to be down there the last couple of years in small numbers. Very cool.
Thanks for posting this...
I'd like to see Andrew hook one of these at night while casting for Stripers, lol...
I have heard of a couple of sightings down in that area back in the mid-90's including one that wasin the Adair County paper. This is the time of year when the young males get out and cover some ground. Just a few years back there were a couple roaming as far as Marion/Nelson County area and one in the Herny/Oldham County area.
Btw several years ago on a fly fishing trip I watched a bear swim across the Hiwassee River in the Cherokee National Forest. Watching it fight that swift water to the other side was impressive to say the least. I was in a drift boat and we were anchored up stream from it, but two guys downstream wading might have needed new waders because it drifted pretty close to them!
Folks that is my new fishfinder....he swims until he sniffs a school, you pick him up in the boat and drop your downlines on the school. The only problem is he will fight you for the catch.....think im going back to the lowrance. P.S USED BEAR FOR SALE !!
Hey Jeff,
Just keep him. As big as we are, together we could take him!!![]()
i dont know tim....he REALLY likes striper ......
So do they hit Redfins or Long A Bombers when they are feeding on the top?
Stripernut, I met you. The bear has no flipping chance:-)
Hey if a bear is swimming, and has no clothes on, is that skinny dipping?
And if a bear does in the woods....does he in the lake?
