I know a lot use braid on spinning reels so looking for some advise to remedy this as he loved the sensitivity of the braid. When i was spooling it up i wrapped tape around the spool before spooling it as that is the only way i have ever done with braid line
I use Fireline on my spinning reels and the only time I have experienced twist was if my soft plastic was on bad and the bait corkscrewed and twisted as I retreived the lure. If the line it put on properly, bail is closed manually after a cast and the lure isn't twisted upon retrieving you prolly has some bad line. JMO.

That's it Don bad line,I to use mainly fireline but have used all of them for years. That being said and not to bash a product will simple never use Stealth again. It wasn't so much the twist in the line but the knots that popped up in the middle of the spool. It seemed to be waxier and therefore couldn't get the knot out. And not sure because it's been years but isn't Stealth a hybrid type mono\braid? Chuck
