I started with a a white pearl fluke and caught the first 4 fish. Biggest was 5lb 5oz. Knute (The Heathen) couldn't stand it so I gave the same type hook I was using along with a small split shot to attach near the swivel.

We did catch a few on Pop-R type plugs but they weren't hitting the jumps very hard or in schools. It appeared that just a single white would chase up some bait fish and then you had to hit the fish on the head with the Pop-R or he wouldn't see it or take it.

The final score (who keeps score?) was Tyme 9 fish: Knute 3 fish.
Were u fishing right up at the dam in the swift current? We went wednesday night and used white grubs and rooster tails and fished just strait out from the stairs at the parking lot (maybe 200 yards dpwnstream) and we didnt catch anything. Even netted some shad and cut them up and tossed out and nothing. There was good current where we tossed our baits. Just dont know how to fish there with anything other than nightcrawlers downstream from the museum catching drum.
