    Hurricane

First time I have been to Florida in years and here comes a hurricane right where we are staying. Just the luck. I sent the wife to get food and beer and she did not get enough beer, now we have a problem lol.

Been through a few of those things and they were not that bad. Wouldn't want to sit through an Andrew like Miami did though. Good luck and it's actually kinda cool.....well maybe not if ur on vacation.

If we don't loose power and have plenty of cold beer I will make it. I only drink fo'fo' drinks on vaca. Been drinkin beer then pina coloda with lots of rum. Then back to beer. If the cain hits it is straight bourbon and water. Here with a wife, 2 kids, and 1 mom and a hurricane. Oh yeah and the refrigerator repair man just left. Priceless!

I have friends who do but in the Orlando area it was never a major threat like on the coastal areas. No doubt it's a weather event that dominates the news down there and that adds a level of excitement to the storms.

I would still do it if I had the choice. Heck we would go fishing in some wicked winds when the storms were stalled and spinning off the coast.
