Deleting a Visitor Message

When I delete a VM because its served it's purpose, it shows up saying the reason was "Junk". I don't want to offend folks unintentionally, since I do that too often anyway. But what am I doing wrong? I just want to clear out some old messages, and not imply to folks I thought their concerns were "junk".

Looks like you figured it out or at least figured out how to disable visitor messages altogether.

When you delete a visitor message you have the option to Physically remove message or delete message. The first one should get rid of any trace of the message.

I've deleted private messages just because they're old and no longer relevant. Kinda describes me, old and not relevant.

I was going to respond to this sooner, but since you didn't visit, I couldn't tell you when I saw you. So I figured if your weren't talking to me, I wouldn't know what the question was so I couldn't answer what I wasn't even asked unless I guessed at it and just answered by saying....."oh....okay.....huh.....yea man....okay". But I didn't want to say that because I wasn't asked when you visited.

PS: Old is relevant to folks who are much older. Young is not relevant to me as an old guy. I was young and relevant, but I got over it :-)
