LOl funny stuff....Seriously though I don't see a cost savings at all once you consider gas, boat(if used), tackle and other misc costs like insurance. I think your way ahead just buying some fish at the grocery or fish market.

If your going fishing anyway and want to keep a few to eat then it's hard to beat that cost but if your going fishing to just catch fish for the table I think your wasting money, unless you have a cheap cheap way of getting there and fishing from the bank or canoe.

Fresh fish is good but I'm pretty picky about where that fish comes from. In kentucky I pretty much don't eat fish caught here. If I'm fishing saltwater I eat alot more of those fish.
