Just a thought. How about one of those 110 volt/ac pond pumps?

Just figure out the gph you have on the 12 volt pump, and hit Lowe's or Home Depot to see what you can buy with that level of flow the cheapest. You might also browse thru a Big Lots, as they are carrying more lawn and garden stuff then before.
Might be worth spending a couple bucks for a 110 pump, as you'd be saving the wear and tear on the battery charger that might cost more if you had to replace it.
What about a 110volt/AC aeartor, instead of the pump.
Basspros has one for about $25.00 they say is rated for up to 50 gallon tanks.
