Went to Kentucky Lake and hit it for the right time! It was cool and the winds were light (at least for KY Lake) and out of the south for most of the week. The small mouth was a nice surprise and were in shallow water. Most of the better fish we caught were under the white bass and we caught them on tubes, sinkos and baby brush hogs. We had great fishing all day and the fish were very strong. KY lake gives up more keeper size fish than any other lake I fish and if you are new to fishing and get the chance to fish there than your chance of catching a good fish or the biggest fish of your life is very good. I even got a good cat on a small sinko in less than 10 feet of water.
