Any ideas on what to do on Barren this weekend to catch a few in the heat?!

I hit the creek last year with 2 guys from Eastern Ky i meet when it was 101.I made sure their truck was at the end of the float & called a ride when me & son got there.They stayed out till after dark.Drink a lot.With gas at 3.09 i think every boat,jet ski or anything with a motor will be on the lakes.Be safe.

I have had success in the heat of the summer finding shad schools with actively feeding bass on them...throwing shad cranks that dive 4-6ft around and threw the schools, and also ripping white spinnerbaits throw the schools. Caught some big LMs doing that last summer before we moved. Right there next to Bailey's point in the cut through was a great spot for that...also, look for hybrid jumps in the am and pm! good luck!
