Afganistan war hits home

I just learned this morning that my cousin's son was killed in Afghanistan after less than a month of deployment.

Our entire family was so proud of Chase attending West Point. He was a fine young man and son.

The one thing another cousin told me this morning was that her first thought was of departed Uncles and parents,grandparents,etc that greeted Chase on his arrival to the hereafter.

Sad day here.

Sorry to hear that man. Much respect to him and your family. Let them know we are thinking about him and thankful for his service and ultimate sacrifice.

That picture made me tear up...not even gonna lie...

Very sorry to hear about the young man, who was obviously as fine as they come.

Many thanks to him for the sacrifice he made for me, my wife, my little baby girl, and all of us.
