I bought a HDS 5 and installed it on my boat, and the graph will not read when running the lake but works fine when fishing, any idea of what the problem could be. Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem if I run too fast. At slower speeds it works fine, but if I go much over 35mph, the graph stops showing depth and detail. I have my transducer mountied in the hull. I guess it has something to do with cavitation.
