1995 Pro Tournament Repair

Well, I have bitten the bullet and have begun to take my 95 Tracker apart to stop the leaking issue. Man! I had no idea there that many rivets holding this thing together. I have gotten the rear deck and livewell out as well as the two rear storage compartments and the seat storage out. I am having a little trouble getting the floor for the gas tank out, but thats the next thing.

Anyone have any thoughts as to things to watch out for or be aware of?

Have you checked your plug, thru hull fittings, and live well houses? I would think on an aluminum boat, that would be about the only thing to leak. I know the hulls can crack, but I would think that would be pretty obvious on aluminum. You can also plug the boat up and start filling it with water to check where its coming out at.

Oh, I can see the leaks! I have several rivets that were replaced before I bought the boat (which I did not see) and the keel strip is leaking as well. The last time out I estimate I had between 75 and 100 gallons in the boat.

I probably should have put more info in original post. I have a bunch of the rivets under the boat loose and missing and the keel strip is letting water out (and in I assume). So instead of just spending the rest of this year hoping to stop the leaks I just said the heck with and started taking the boat apart.
