Rough River Lake

I am probably going to make the drive down to Rough River Lake this weekend and do a little bass fishing. I have never been there before and was wondering if some of you guys could give me some tips? Thanks in advance

The only piece of advice i can give you is if you want to fish this weekend don't go to Rough. I'm sure the 4th of July crowd will be there and Rough is the last place you want to be. There will be 150,000 pontoons and 123,000 wave runners there!!!! If you do go, be careful.

I was thinking about heading out there Sunday morning, I figured most of the pleasure boaters would be gone by then. What kind of structure and what not is in the lake?

There will still be a ton of boaters out.

Just fish early and late and you should miss the traffic.
